do any credit cards give you reward points on balance transfers?

i can only find credit cards that give you points for every dollar you spend. are there any cards that give you points for every dollar you transfer from another credit card?

I do not know of any cards that give rewards on balance transfers. Credit card companies don’t allow this in order to avoid people from constantly switching balances back and forth.
I do believe that the Citi CashReturns card offers a small cash bonus for balance transfers, but I don’t think it’s enough to offset any balance transfer fees that you would incur.

One option that you could consider is getting a rewards card that has a 0% introductory APR on purchases. You could use this card to make all purhases for a series of months while paying off your current balance on the other card.
The only problem with this scenario is that after the introductory period, you’ll have to figure out what to do with the new balance that you have accumulated.
