could i still have the hope to have my credit card application approved?

i have recently been declined by hsbc bank credit card application and for the ssecured card.but cople of weeks later i received a letter from them saying: we have received your application, and would like to process it as quckly aspossible; however, we were unable to verify the following information: address name social security #
is there any sign of posibilities if i call them they would get my credit card approved??

they need to verify your identity for "anti identity theft"
they can still might approve it after they receive your information.
