If she has such good credit and good job why doesn’t she try to buy a home or apartment instead of renting? She would have her name on the deed at first and in the future you can add your name.
My sister and I purchased a home in 98. I was the only one with good credit so the deed and mortgage were in my name. A few years later I added her on the deed.
It’s a very wise investment! Think about it.
Good Luck.
The best way to do it is just have her sign the lease. You still help pay the rent and everything, it will just be under her name/credit. You’ll be kinda boned though is she ever wants to kick you out lol. Good luck.
Yes, they will require that both of you sign a credit application if you are both present. However, you need to be careful as not to do this too much. Each credit check they run will show up as a hard inquiry and could adversely affect both of your scores. To get around it, you could look at the apartments on separate occasions, make sure you agree on whether you like it or not and then have her sign the lease as if she were living by herself.
