I do not have good credit. What is the easiest unsecured credit card to get…?

I do not want a credit card that is targed to bad credit because they give you a card with a 0 limit but after all of the initial fees you are only able to charge .

There are more that a few lenders who specialize in credit cards for people with bad credit. You just have to look a little harder than most people have to.

And getting a card after you’ve had a few problems doesn’t necessarily mean that you have a higher than normal rate. Like, I said, you’ll just have to compare between credit lines, yearly fees, and interest percentages. Just make sure you do your homework BEFORE you commit, and you’ll be fine.

You can find some offers for credit cards, both secured and unsecured here:

Try Capital One… Or, if you are a member of a local credit union that offers credit cards, try that…

First of all, if you aren’t aware of your credit score I would pull it to see if you really do have bad credit (most banks prefer a score of >680), you’re allowed to pull your own credit once a year for free. If you do have bad credit then I would say that a secured credit card is the way to go. It may have a higher interest rate and have fees associated it but it will help you get your credit score up so that you can get an unsecured credit card or any other loans you may need in the future. The biggest bank that I know of that still offers secured credit cards is Bank of America.

There is very little out there that will enable to get you an unsecured card with bad credit. The first thing I’d advise you to do is confirm your actual credit score, it may not be as bad as you think. 2) I f the score is poor, then your only real option is one of those cards you really don’t want. The upside to that, however, is that it will help improve you score, especially if you pay off the balance each month. Then watch you score fly upwards over a relativly short amount of time!!

I recommend Orchard Bank card. If you have bad credit that will probably be your best choice. http://www.ccvault.com/credit_cards/bad_credit.php
