sure go for it!! just do not overload ether account!!!
yup
Yes, you can have two cards from the same bank. However, if you just received the one credit card, you may not get approved for the second one. You may not have sufficient credit history.
If you don’t need the extra card, don’t get. Just like people’s want increase with the size of their income, so to with credit the company has plenty of data that indicate you are likely to use the extra card. It is a tremendous ego boost to find out your eligible for more credit, but do you really need the extra card and for what? If you do get the extra card cut it up, immediately that way you can’t use it. You FICA score will increase because you will have available credit that you are not using, thus you will appear to creditors as responsible when you decide to purchase your next house.
Sure you can. I have three cards from chase. Be careful not to overload them. Best would be to pay them off in full every month.
Definitely keep both, it is not good to close accounts even if you don’t want it, it is better to just not use the account. But, yes keep both.
You can apply for the 2nd one as well. Be mindful however that opening 2 many cards in a short time frame labels you as in need of credit and doesn’t do you any favours. It will also reduce your bureau score. P.S. Be mindful that you may or may not be approved for the 2nd card.
you can have two accounts with the same bank but you also have to see what their policy is. Since it is HSBC you have to make sure that they do not require you to have history on one account before opening or being approved for another.
