How do you get approved for an apartment if you have really bad credit?

I am trying to get my mom into an apartment but she has very bad credit. She HAS to have an apartment by the end of this week. How do you get approved if you have bad credit? Is there a way around the credit check? Thanks for the advice.

look at a privite place
don’t go to complex’s you will be wasting your time
you probably are going to go to a little bit of the "rougher" areas
theres no way around getting a credit check. however, if you have enough money she can pay a couple months in advance and that may get her the apartment, or she can find a co-signer with good credit.
