This site explains the answer is no, as well provides a link to Mastercard and Visa’s policy.
WOW, so you mean if I dropped my credit card or left it on a counter ANYONE can pick it up and go on a spending spree?
Now that’s a lot scarier than thinking a store employee might memorize my DL number and do what with it?
