    Yes, I do this all the time never had a problem. It’s safer than a regular credit card too because you only have a certain amount on it.

    And If I have five dollars left or under, because you can’t really buy anything online without shipping cost for $5 or under, I by music for 99 cents each or watch a new release movie from Amazon.com. Otherwise the money gets wasted.

    Are you talking about a visa gift card? If so, then I am pretty sure that you are able to use it to shop online.

    If you mean the prepaid or gift visa cards, then yes, you can use them to shop online. It acts like a regular Visa card, except there are certain limitations.

    You can only spend whatever amount of money you load onto the card.

    You have to activate it first before you can use it. Make sure you have the funds to cover whatever you buy.

    If the card has the visa logo and is funded then you can use it anywhere visa is accepted. You can use it online or at the atm. Only difference is you need to add money to the card to use it.
